Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
Dismiss Charges
Last year I wrotete a check to someone, in return I asked them not to cashed the check and I tried to put a stop on the check however I stoped the wrong check number. I was contacted by the persons bank about the matter. The person told me it was handled and I had nothing to worry about. On Monday I was aressted for this matter. The State of Ohio is charing me with 1 count passing bad checks and theft. The person who cashed the check said he would take full blame, and wants all the Charges removed from my name. What do I need to do to have the Charges Dropped from my name! This is taking place in the Cuyahoga County if that helps

Re: Dismiss Charges
You should have no problem getting rid of this, but you will need a lawyer. You're not guilty if you did not intend to decieve or defraud.
