Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

very disrespectful neighbors

I am married with 2 boys. Our children cannot leave our house without being followed and tormented by the neighbors. This includes the mother of the children in question. We cannot leave to go on vacation without coming home to find something destroyed by these people. Outside lights broken, house egged, etc.

They call the dog pound and report that our dog is loose and terrorizing the comminuty. We live on a busy street. I do not want to pick our dog up off the street in pieces. So when she is outside, she is tied at all times.

There has got to be something we can do to stop this constant abuse. I am not the only neighbor putting up with this. Money is no object. We are talking about principal now. We all want to be able to enjoy our home and neighborhood without having trouble from these people.

Re: very disrespectful neighbors

First I would go to the prosecutor to complain about the neighbors. Second, it sounds like menacing by stalking. Third it could be vandalism. It is time to take the offensive to keep the neighbor on his or her toes, but do so in a legal manner.
