Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

Domestic Violence charges between Sisters

My sister has a history of accusing people of domestic violence. She has been married 3 times and had a 5 year relationship. All of these relationships have multiple domestic accusations. Around 8 in a span of 22 years. I have never had a violent incident. And I have always given her aid in her domestic situations. No primary aggressor was determined and both of us were arrested. I wanted to subpoena the police records from her past to show past behavior. She was the victim in all cases. She also has epilepsy and hasn't been taking her Topimax. Can I subpoena those records to prove her consistent behavior? And how would I request such a motion so it will be accepted by the judge? I know how to file motions but not one to obtain a subpoena. Advice would be greatly appreciated. I have obtained all police reports, the 911 recording that my mother made. And my mother told her not to come over to the house because I was there. Would this constitute her being an uninvited guest in my mothers home? And would the affirmative defense-self defense stand up? She came looking for me with my back turned at the computer desk. Thank you.

All these arguments are good but without knowing how to raise them you will lose EVERY TIME because you won't know when or how to assert them. DO NOT ATTEMT DEFENDING YOURSELF WITHOUT A LAWYER UNLESS YOU DONT MIND 6 MONTHS OF JAIL. I WOULD NOT TAKE THIS CASE, SO PLEASE KNOW IT IS NOT OUT OF WANTING YOUR BUSINESS THAT I GIVE THIS ADVICE. GET A LAWYER OR GO TO JAIL.
