Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

Domestic Violence ''The Longshot''

9 years ago I was falsly charged with DV over VERBAL fight, I was a kid and did not realize the future severity. Pled Guilty to avoid jail time. Anyway this happened in YOUNGSTOWN OHIO (just before feds cleaned house), after the court was over the FBI knocked at my door investigating the judge, the prosicuter and my lawyer all whom were either removed from office and/or jailed for corruption. Seems the lawyer who charged me 10 x the going rate of $ with threats of jail split the money with the prosicuter in my case and many others. I feel as if I was a victim of corruption. How long after a conviction can I appeal? Becuase of the PROVEN corruption could I build a case? to be more clear .. the lawyer charged me $11,000 and shared it with the prosicuter and bought the case, and got caught and himself by federal agents. what are my options here as I need my record cleaned up. It was my 1 and only time i ever got in trouble and I never had a run in with the law since. i was threatened into a plea and everyone involved was indited for corruption including the judge. what seemed cool as a kid to get out of trouble is now sickening to me. I truly was a victim of corruption . what can I do? how do I handle this?

Depending on when you found out about the corrupt activities, you might be able to sue the attorney.

Unfortunately he is probably broke, in jail, or both. Therefore it would be a waste of time and money. Also, your statute of limitations has probably already passed.
