Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
Double Jeopardy
Let's say Mr. Jones leads a double life. In his first life, he is tried for murder but is acquitted. Can his other identity be charged with murder, or is that double jeopardy? Technically the two are the same person, but on paper they are two seperate identities.

Re: Double Jeopardy
Double jeopardy attached to the individual, not the identity used or aliases that you use. If you've beeen tried and acquitted, even under the wrong name, you can't be tried again, even if they discover the right name.
