Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
Drug Charge
My ex-husband was indicted by the Grand Jury for five counts of illegally obtaining prescription drugs (F5), he obtained xanax, adivan, and oxycodone from 2 different doctors, some of the times were within 7 - 9 days. What are we looking at here? My ex is also a State Parole Officer, will he be held to a hight standard with regards to sentencing if convicted? My son was there 4 of the 5 times he did this, can they do anything to him about that?

Re: Drug Charge
Depends on his record. There is a presumption of probation for f5's. He could try for treatment in lieu of conviction (leaving him with no record). Feel free to call me, if you wish , I would need more facts to properly evaluate the case.
