Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
Expungement
I was charged with aggravated drug traffiking a 3rd degree felony in 1995.This same charge is a 5th degree felony now(2006).I recently tried joining our local volunteer fire dept. and was denied because of my conviction in 1995.It has been 11 years can I get this expunged from my record?

Re: Expungement
Yes, If this was your ONLY conviction since you were 18 years old, minor traffic offenses are okay.
Re: Expungement
It is quite possible that you can get some relief-I will be happy to discuss the matte with you. There is no charge for the initial call.

Re: Expungement
You can have it expunged ONLY if the conviction was your only one in your life since 18. Do you have any misdemeanors....traffic is ok....
