Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
''Expungement process''
I want to get my criminal record expunged. What steps do I need to take? What is the average cost? Do I need a lawyer? How long before the record is expunged? I was convicted of insurance fraud. My probation officer told me that the charge can be expunged from my record.

Re: ''Expungement process''
The Court costs vary but they should not exceed $100.00. You must wait three years from the date you are released from probation to file. Further, you are only eligible if you are a first offender. That included misdemeanors such as DUI or Suspended license.
