Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
It's my fault.
I got mad at my husband and had him put in jail by lying about the fight we had. We were both drunk and I got mad at him. How do I get him out? Will I go to jail for lying?

Re: It's my fault.
You need to tell the prosecutor immediately. HE may still not drop the case and go to trial, figuring you're lying now.
He will call you as a witness in his trial and you will have to testify that you lied. Since you lied to the police you could be charged with a misdemeanor. If you lie on the stand you will be committing a felony.
