felony fraud
Do persons facing credit card fraud and or embezzlement usually serve jail time. If so how much?

It depends on the circumstances, such as the amount of money involved, whether restitution can be made, whether the person has a criminal record, who the judge is, etc. What court is the case in?

Going to prison is a possibility with any felony. The particular offense you describe does carry a possible prison sentence but jail time is not mandatory. If you are talking about your own case, you do not want to try to take care of this without an attorney! Probation is possible with the right information. If you have questions talk to your attorney. If you don't have one, get one!
