Felony: (last question for message) Can these charges be dropped?

The whole scenario went down in March. My brother was engaged to be married. During this engagement he started sleeping with his fianc�es cousin who was 17. He was 22. He got a guilty conscience and told the girl he was cheating with that he was breaking up with her. She got angry and the next day she filed rape charges n him. He could not afford a good attorney and was held in jail for about 90 days awaiting this whole thing to go down. Part of the way through this the girl withdrew the charge of rape because ''she didn�t want to face him''. The DA or whoever still wanted charges brought up on him and he ended up being charged with a felony 4 ''sexual misconduct with a minor''. He was hit with a felony 4 and is a registered sex offender for 25 years. Multiple issues came from this. He is on strict probation for 3 years. Here is where it really gets fun. He moved to Ohio to be with his fianc�e. He is from TN. Since this went down he has no place to live, no money, no job, no friends or family and the state will not let him transfer. I need to know if there is anything a lawyer could do for this. I also need to know if we can sue the girl for anything from fraudulent charges to defamation of character or even the state. What charges are you referring to? You stated that he is on probation. This means, that he was either convicted at trial or plead guilty and is now receiving probation. Your question needs to be clarified. If you need further help, you can email me at [email protected].
