Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
I got in a fight and the girl filed a police report. It's been over a week and I haven't heard anything from anyone and they know who I am. I've had a plane ticket to move to Hawaii for months and I'm leaving on Tuesday. If anything is filed can I send a plea in by mail or phone since I won't be coming back and I'm moving to live there. I did call the prosecutor office and they said it may be a month or more before a court date is set. I can't just set here and see since I need to move and get a job.
