Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
A Filed Motion for Judicial release
Hi! Is there a certain amount of time a judge have to respond to a motion filed for a judicial release.
It has been 5 months since my attorney filed
A motion for early release.
And the judge has not denied it or granted the release. Im still waiting
for a response. My attorney is out of town and will return in March.

It has been a while since I checked the statute but I believe the judge has 180 days to answer, and you need to make sure your attorney alerts the judge as to the deadline approaching.
