Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
forfeiture
I was arrested 10/03 for buying drugs - purchased through
the window of my vehicle, the police were watching. Arrested and charge with possession and they kept my vehicle
as a criminal tool. Plead guilty to possession, criminal
tool dropped. Do they have to release my vehicle? Any
recorded cases on this??

Re: forfeiture
Your car should have been released at the close of the case and there should have been an order from from the court....now you have abandonment issues working against you. Why did your lawyer walk out of court without that release?
