Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

Fraud against the Court, Forgery,

In 2007 we had to take our sister to court for concealment of assets. Just before we went into court we resolved the problems outside of the court room. However, after filng the complaint we learned that in 3 separate cases she has forged the deed to our mothers house, forged our name on other documents in to other cases. We went to court about other issues and discovered the forgery and fraud against the court. Can now go back and sue her for legal fees and/or the forgery and fraud that dicovered during the concealment of asset 2 cases. A 3rd case involves forgery in a child guardianship case where she conspired and gained custody of niece and her estate by forging my name and my brothers name on wavier of notice to appear documents. We never new she had gone to court and got guardianship of our niece because we never knew about the hearing. She did this in 2002. Niece lived with grandmother until grandmother died in 2006. Niece wanted to live with me. I found out about the guardianship when I went to apply in 2007. All this happend after our mother died.

Re: Fraud against the Court, Forgery,

You may very well have one or more civil cases against your sister. I would depend on the interpretation of the statute of limitations. To give you a clear answer, I would need to get more details. Also, your sister could defenitely have several criminal charges brought against her. From what I can tell, she has broken several criminal laws. Please feel free to contact me for further discussion (free consultation). Best regards, Edward DiCato
