Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
future indictment
I was charged with carring a concealed weapon. The gun was not mine and my finger prints were not found on it. So the case was dismissed. But I was told there is a possibility of a future indictment. How likely is that to happen if the gun isn't mine?

Re: future indictment
It is very unlikely that you would be charged again. The case was dismissed because there was insuffient evidence. Unless some new evidence were to falls in thier laps, they will not seek an indictment.
