Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
garbage
i have court on tuesday and i was wondering i took some items from my employer but they were going to be thrown away as in damaged goods can i get the theft charge dropped and seek no jail time? i dont think that they are aware of that. they said i took it of the shelves where i took it from the garbage. i plead not guilty and tuesday is my pre-trial.

Unless your employer concedes that it was a mistake on their part, you will probably have to go to trial to prove what you took was considered garbage.
