Probation, local jail time, or prison. The judge will decide based on prior record, acceptance of responsibility, aggravating or mitigating circumstances et. A theft conviction can be very harmful to your future. If there is any way to keep this off of your record, you need to do so. You need to talk to an experienced criminal lawyer as soon as possible.
