Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
here is what happend. i went to a store a changed tags on a couple things. i aslo went through you scan a didnt scan everything. i was stopped at door by lp and charged with shoplifting. cops were called and did not arrest me because my child was there. i will not lie i have done this before. will they go back a look at tapes and see this and be charged with more at court and will i go to jail. i am an adult and this is my first offence. i am really scared i wish i could go back and change all of this. i am going to swallow my big girl pill just really scared to death. i am a stay at home mom and have 4 kids!

It is unlikely that they will look back and charge you for the prior acts. You will probably be placed on probation and ordered to pay restitution.
