Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

horse thievery in Ohio

Is stealing a horse and pony (of debatable monetary worth) still considered a felony in Ohio, and if so, where I can I find the statutes? Thank you. Also, is pepper spraying the persons who are in the act of stealing said horses a crime? If so, based on what statues please. And finally, after one party was sprayed she misidentified herself, saying, ''You just assaulted a police officer.'' Is she not guilty of impersonation of an officer? Again, statutes please. I'm trying to help a neighbor lady not get hung out to dry after defending herself and her propertry from this known felon of heinous crimes. And now she is defending herself in court for spraying them! Any help, appreciated. Her case is Wednesday!!!! Thank you.

She should have called a lawyer. All of the above answers are case specific... She should ask for a continuance on Wednesday to obtain legal counsel and then call someone.
