Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

husband was assaulted

my husband was assaulted by 3 co-

workers outside a bar after work

while out of state on a company job.

he is left permanently disabled. the

others involved were arrested,

indicated they did not wish to press

charges after stating my husband

started a fight, and were released.

my husband was never questioned.

1) since their expenses and hotel

costs were covered by the company,

is this a potential liability for the

company? 2) he suffered a closed

head injury from a roundhouse kick

to the head per a witness statement,

is this a criminal assault case

whereby the prosecutor should have

picked it up? 3)does the bar have

any liability if it began inside and

they took it to the alley? 4) i cannot

find an attorney to take the case...

they look into it and then suddenly

tell us we have no case but won't

say why... is there no avenue of law

that covers such an incident?

Re: husband was assaulted

You need to contact an attorney in the state where the assault occurred. Ohio attorneys are not allowed to pursue claims in Michigan courts (unless they are also licensed in Michigan). Submit the question again to the Michigan lawyers.
