Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
Juvenile Penalties
My question pertains to a 4th degree misdemeanor for juvenile.I believe the charge is Improper handling of a firearm in a moter vehicle.What is the maximum penalty for this charge.Also is there such a thing as juvenile prison system?

If we were dealing with adults the maximum penalty for an M4 is up to 30 days in jail and a $250.00 fine. However the juvenile system is different. The Magistrate or Judge has great latitude in sentencing . Yes there is a "reform school" for children who are sentenced to prison.
