Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

Can the Juvenile sex charges be droped?

Im 18, my girlfriend is 15.. She called the human services telling them she had been having sex with a 18 yr old, Which would be me obviously.. So the human services and a cop came to talk to us. They arrested me and took her in for questioning. We both told them we had been having sex, and every thing we had said was recorded. Now she is denying she had sex with me after I had turned 18. If in court, if her and I both deny it, would the charges be droped? Her parents did not press charges, it is now only in the states hands. Thanks for the time.. And this would make a world of a diffence to me if I knew what would most likely happen.

They could choose to drop the charges, but they have your admission. Regardless of how she changed her story, you told them you did. Let this be a lesson to never talk to the police without an attorney present. You can go to trial, but you've already admitted that you committed the crime.
