Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
Is it legal for muni court judges to give lawyers & cronnies, family, a break in traffic tickets? for example a speeding ticket 46 mph in a 25 mph zone. The judge accepts plea, changes charge to headlight violation, small fine. No points. The person that got the ticket is a magistrate, with a least 6 speeding tickets, all changed to headlight violations.
