Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
is it legal or a technicallity
is it legal to be arrested without your rights being read to you,whether the charge is a felony or a misdemeanor, or is this a technicallity that is just overlooked?

One only needs to be read their miranda rights if they are under custodial interrogation. If the police do not ask you any more than your name address and social security number, then you may not be under custodial interrogation.
