Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
i live in ohio. i have a felony breaking and entering conviction from 1999. about 2 weeks later while waiting to go to jail i was convicted of misdemeanor obstruction of justice.7 years ago i tried to have my felony expunged and the judge said he would be happy to. then the DA found the misdemeanor and i was told by the judge there was nothing he could do. i was wondering if i got the misdemeanor sealed would i then be able to go back and get the felony expunged or atleast sealed. thanks

Unfortunately, you are not eligible to have either conviction sealed. In order to have either one sealed under Ohio law, you must be a first offender. By definition, if you have two convictions arising out of two separate fact patterns, then you are not a first offender.
