Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
loitering
I know this might be a really dumb question, but I was standing outside of a movie theater to smoke a cigarette and there was a police car parked a ways ahead of me. After the movie, I stood outside my car again to smoke, and saw the police car pull up a ways ahead of me again. Nothing was said to me, and I just drove away, but is there any way that I could be cited for loitering or something through my license plate number without being told?
