Can they make me do 9 mo for a 6 mo sentence

Probation officer told me to write two the judge and asked to be released with time served on my charges. I was given a 6mo suspended sentence ,diversion program & 1 yr probation for 1st time domestic violence charge Already did 3 mo in work release program now 30 days into 6 mo county time. How do I ask her to let me out with time served? Can she make me do 9 mo for a 6 mo sentence in Ohio?

You cannot serve more than 6 months for a 6 month sentence. I'm not sure what you mean by how do you ask the judge to let you out with time served. You just give her the reasons why you think you deserve it. It probably wouldn't hurt to talk to a lawyer. What county are you in? Maybe I could help.
