Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

What motivated you to become a lawyer?

I have to do a report for chemistry class on a career that I would be interested in, which I personally think is a crime to be wasting time on in a science class. But more to the poin, I needed to interview a lawyer as a part of this ''educational '' report and basically just need to know what and why you personally chose to become a lawyer.

Re: What motivated you to become a lawyer?

I decided to become a lawyer because it gives you a certain power to fight for others who really need your help. As an attorney I can change the way things are done. Attorneys usually are the ones who write the laws of the state, who represent people in the legislature, and most importantly, all judges are attorneys.

If you feel like you want to be empowered to change things, becoming an attorney puts you in that position.
