Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
We have a neighbor who is scaring our dog. When leaving or arriving to her home she lays on the horn pointing directly at him until he runs and hides. She also has an incredibly loud whistle with a speaker on it that she is always opening her front door and blowing anytime the dog is out which scares him badly. We have these incidents recorded. We are in Ohio if we take this to the cops is there anything they could do? Could that be enough to potentially send to the prosecutor? She's not coming directly on our property, but we are concerned for our dogs safety now.

There might well be a noise ordinance that she is violating, or she could also be charged with disorderly conduct. It would be up to the prosecutor.
