Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

Obstructing Justice

If I am charged with an F3 and am out on house arrest, does the time I am serving on house arrest count towards my sentence time if I get convicted?

I am pretty sure I will be convicted because I have no information to share to help their case against some shooter so I am not able to bargain for a reduction...why would I be sent to prison when the shooter and all the people at the party still remain free? Because I thought I was cooperating they tricked me into saying things I shouldn't have and then told me I should've lawyered up...I didn't know what that was..I guess for the others who were questioned and did that and went free it pays to have committed crimes and know what the terms are and how to get around the law. How can someone with limited funds fight police misconduct and all their friends (lawyers, judges, prosecuting attorneys) in a money hunger and ambtious small town?

Re: Obstructing Justice

You need to get a good lawyer. If you have family, ask for help. This is no time to worry about cost-If money is available from any source take advantage of it. If not, you need a public defender.

If you want to talk, feel free to contact me and give me your tel no. or some way of getting back to you.

good luck
