Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
does ohio have a time limit for indictments? in nov I got into a bit of trouble. I was never actually arrested. but I was read my rights. asked for a statement and then they let me leave... it is march and I have not heard anything.. do indictments have a time limit?

There is no strict deadline to indict but one year is the general rule. If this is Cuyahoga county it usually takes 6 months. Call me directly if you want. 216.952,1990.
