What are the penalties for child abuse?
I smacked my son once and now am going to be prosecuted for it. I am very upset for doing it I feel awful and I have done everything I can think of to fix this. I had never hit him before and didn't mean to this time. I have never done anything wrong before and I'm scared. I have tried to get answers but they won't talk to me. I deserve whatever punishment they deem necessary but I am just trying to get a heads up as to what i could be looking at. Thank-you for your time.
