What is the penalty in Ohio for an adult hitting a minor?

It depends on the statute in which you are charged; assault, aggravated assault, felonious assault, or domestic violence. It will also depend on whether or not there are sentencing enhancers. Finally, but most importantly, it will also depend on what you plead guilty to having done, or what the jury finds you guilty of having done....if anything! You are presumed innocent. Don't forget that.
