what does it mean if a person sleeps with the person they say raped them after the fact.

If the person charged with the rape can prove that the complaintant slept with them, use it in court. The downside to that is that usually the judge places a NO CONTACT order stating that the defendant is to have no contact with the victim. The defendant could be in trouble for violating the judges order.
