Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
Petty Theft.
Hi, my friends and I are in Horticulture and we took flowers from our greenhouse. Our school decided to press charges. I took 2 geraniums and a flat of flowers. The amount will presumably be around $13. The school officer says I could expect community service. However, I'm 17. I will be 18 upon my arrival in court. He says this prevents me from having probation, and also says they can't hold my previous underage consumption case against me. Is this true?

You committed the offense as a juvenile and that will be the court that will handle the case. Best Regards, Edward Dicato
