Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
police and interrogations
do the police have to record any questiong that they do in order for a confession to be admissable in court. and is it illegal for police to continue to question you after you imply that you do want to anwser by saying ''i cant think clearly right now i need some time to think''?

They don't necessarily have to tape record the confession. Sometimes it's just transcribed. They must have a miranda waiver. As far as the statement above, it could be used as a basis for a motion to suppress. It won't hurt to file the motion.
