Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
police phone call
my friend got a call from a restricted number and someone said they were the police and got complaints against him and me and 2 of my other friends. He didnt say what the complaints were and he said that he wanted to talk to us and didnt tell us where to go just kept saying he wanted to talk to us. he never called anybody else just my friend and called his cell phone which seems odd. He said he would get in contact with me and my 2 other friends within 2 weeks. do cops do this? is it legal?

Re: police phone call
It sounds fishy. Usually an officer/detective would state who he is and why he is calling, or at the very least what his call pertains to. If you are doing anything illegal, STOP. SOmeone may be watching.
