Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
Possession of an altered Drivers License
After being handcuffed for underage consumption the officer reached into my pocket a and stumbled upon an altered ID of someone else, he then proceeded to write me a citation for possession of an altered ID. Since i was not caught using the ID for illegal purposes could i convince a judge that I had picked the ID up off the ground and had been carrying it witht the intent to return it to authorities?
