Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
probation violation
boyfriend ran from Probation officer during a home visit, he is in ohio now, his probation is originally in KY where his case worker for child support is also, he hasnt been paying child support or probation fines, if I begin to pay them now does it better his chances of release? how to handle the ordeal?

You do not provide enough information to answer the question. What is he on probation for and from where? Why did the probation officer want him or did he just not show up? I do not think that the Court cares who pays the child support for your boyfriend but they are probably more interested in the arrearage. If he ran off from a probation officer, then he may need more help than the payment of child support. Again, though, I do not know what he was on probation for. You need to talk to an attorney familiar with the case for an answer.
