What is the procedure for having something expunged from your record?

A "Motion to Seal the Record" must be filed within the jurisdiction where the conviction stands.
To be sealed, it must be your one and only offense before and since the conviction other than minor traffic citations. It can not be a crime of violence, sex crime, or a DUI. If it's a felony, it can only be filed 3 years after final disposition, one year for misdemeanors.
I highly recommend hiring an attorney for this.
