Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
what is the best way to prosecute someone for stealing money? my soon to be exwife went into my 401k and took out a $2500 loan without my permission, took money from our 20 year old daugter $4000, took $1500 from a soccer team account she managed and yet all I have talked to say that there is nothing I can do. The taking from the 401k was ok because she was my wife. My daughter lost $4000 and the cops told her to write a letter asking for the money. She sent 3 registered with no reply. She doesn't have the money to pay a lawyer to prosecute and my ex can't pay anyway. How can one just mke a person like this held accountable?

You could file a criminal complaint or sue her in Court. The problem with that is that she is uncollectable so it's kind of a waste of time. Make the parents aware of the soccar team money problem.
