Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
Proving Intent
There is a case of accidental child endangerment. A friend hit her baby while waking up in bed with the infant. She has felony charges. Medical reports say the bruise on the baby is a handprint. There are no pictures only medical statements. Is this case beatable and does the prosecution have to prove intent to convict ?

Re: Proving Intent
There is not enough informationto tell if a case is "beatable". The prosecutor must prove "recklesness" in orfer to prove their case.
Good luck!!!
