Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
i was pulled over and was the passenger. after i consented to a search i had a bag of marijuana and had confessed to having consumed a alcoholic beverage resulting in a possesion ticket and an unde age consumption ticket. i was put in the back of the cruiser and taken to the police station. i was never read my miranda rights. is there any way i can fight these charges?

You can always fight the charges. That is your constitutional right. It is also your constitutional right to refuse consent to a search, remain silent and not admit to anything (like underage drinking). You should hire an attorney or if you can not afford one, request that counsel be appointed to you at your initial appearance.
