Re: Rape
It is difficult to be exact in responding to this question, because there are so many different variations on the facts. In general, 16 is the age of consent. That means that if a 16-year-old (male or female) consents to have sexual relations with another person, that other person is not guilty of RAPE. HOWEVER, that person could be guilty of other sexual offenses. That is why I have to tell you to be careful with the answer I am giving you, because -- depending on additional facts -- the answer could change.
