Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

Receiving a threat via e-mail

This may not be in the relm of criminal law, but I feel that I received a threat via e-mail that crossed state lines and can easily be considered intent to comit some type of personal injury or at least injury to my reputation. The person stated, ''''You bet I'm angry , and you'll pay for this, you'll pay for this'' This statement is the result of a business dealing gone bad. All attempts to obtain satisfaction or refund have been met with threatening tones, and beligerant comments. Do I have any legal recourse?

Re: Receiving a threat via e-mail

Call the FBI or the local police. Threats of this kind if they are perceived to be valid can be criminal in nature.
