Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
I recieved a refund check for $2850.00 from. College that I did not attend. The check was issued in my name and express mailed to my address. Is it a criminal offense if I cash it or just a civil lawsuit that I will face. I am really poor and almost homeless.

If it is not your money, then you are likely opening up a lot of future misery by cashing that check.
