Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
records and money amount
1. How long does a attorney have to keep records on a case?
2. If you were found in a theft case for a money amount but the court said you owed a different amount and you asked your attorney about the amount in a matter of a few days after the sentencing why would they not have appealed and said it was too late. It would only have been less than a week after. Now it has been 5 years. We were never told and thought that he couldn't do anything.
