Reduced Prison Terms in Ohio
To reduce our overcrowded prisons, was something passed or revived from the past that states someone who has served 8 months and two weeks in prison can be released for a 1 year prison term. Thanks for your help.

Re: Reduced Prison Terms in Ohio
In Ohio, several years ago(I believe prior to 1996), there was a law in force that allowed for "good time". Basically, it meant that if you stayed out of trouble while in prison you could get credit an extra day served (three days) for actually only serving two days.
