Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

can I represent myself in court when the state of Ohio brings a Lawsuit against

The State of Ohio Attorney General through the Law Firm representing them are demanding payment of an amount of money. The State Of Ohio refuses to indicate what the charges are for and has threatened Court Action if I don't meet their Demands.

I have been greviously traumatized by the threatening letters I've been receiving. I wrote back that they should take me to Court since that is the only way I'll ever be told what the charges are for. My Corporation and I have no money to hire an Attorney. So I'm going to have to handle this myself. This could develope into a high visbility case. Would any Attorney care to represent me in a counter suit against the State of Ohio for the trauma I've suffered. It would have to be on contingency as I have no money.

First, under Ohio law a corporation must have an attorney represent it in Court.

Second, you indicated that this was a criminal law matter, Ethics Rules prohibit handling a criminal matter on a contingency basis. I am confused however because your message states that a law firm is contacting you. Any criminal matter would not be handled by an outside firm.

Respectfully yours,
